Not all wigs labelled "human hair" are created equal. We use multiple verification methods to ensure you receive exactly what you pay for:
1. The Burn Test
Genuine human hair burns slowly, smells like burning protein (similar to burning fingernails), and leaves a crushable ash. Synthetic hair melts, smells like burning plastic, and leaves a hard bead. Every batch of hair we source is burn-tested before it reaches you.
2. Cuticle Alignment
Premium human hair wigs have cuticles that all run in the same direction — from root to tip. This is called "Remy" hair. Cuticle-aligned hair is smoother, less prone to tangling, and lasts significantly longer than non-Remy hair where cuticles are stripped or misaligned. All our wigs use 100% Remy human hair.
3. Texture & Feel Check
Human hair has a natural, slightly varied texture and responds to heat and moisture just like your own hair. Our quality team physically inspects each wig for authentic texture, natural sheen, and proper weight before it's approved for sale.
